Party, Party, Party--Nicholas has his 2nd Birthday Bash

Nicholas' god-parent's were very obliging in hosting his 2nd birthday party...(did I "forget" to mention that there will be 3 toddler boys there?) :)

The weather was cold and rainy, but that didn't bother us all too much. Nicholas had a good romp through the grass/puddles with his socks, and had to have a change of his bottom half about 30mins into his party.

There were bubbles blown, and pink bubbles consumed! The toddlers christened the new table and chairs with drawings (after Aunty Cam and I covered it in butcher paper, to protect the new-ness). Pressies were un-wrapped with much help from William and Declan. Many ooo's and awww's with books, clothes, cars, and DORA-enough said when she is mentioned.

Everyone sat down to a wonderful BBQ dinner, cooked by master griller Geoff. Soon the food had run down and the tummies were full and--CAKE TIME. The first candle, Nicholas put out with his fingers...try again. The 2nd time he blew the candle out. Declan won the award for most icing on his face (please see photo's).

To give the bellies a rest, we had a Dora pinata filled with toys, sultana's, ovaltine chews and stickers..hey they are toddlers :).
