We're Home

No pictures unfortunately...but we're back into summer. Nicholas looked around, put his hands out and said "No Snow...".

We had the best luck in LA--upgraded to Business Class..all 3 of us!! We were nice and waved to the people in our original seats. Nicholas loved his "big seat" and we loved the extra room and the fact we could all lay down. Nicholas did really well on all 3 flights back. Qantas had all his favorites--Little Einsteins, Thomas, and Mickey Mouse Club House...he was more than happy to sit back with a pillow behind his head and put the big ear phones on. The trick was to promise him that we would see his friend William when we got home--and it worked (and I had to make a phone call on the way back to the airport to make sure William was going to be around). So they were our first outing in the afternoon, and we ended up staying for dinner. Nicholas and William had a great time running around playing with each other--I have NO idea where Nicholas got the energy! Then the following night, Aunty Camilla and Uncle Scott came over for dinner--but the best part was that they brought the dinner AND DESSERT! It was great and very yummy-- all I had to do was push the dishwasher button! :)

We're slowly getting things put away...while Nicholas discovers his toys again and drags them all out. He's really enjoying his train set at the moment..putting it together, and sitting in the middle--better access to all the trains. We try and keep all the track in his room..but when we aren't looking he starts taking once piece at a time out into the lounge room--oh well, means we can all have a go!!
