About a month ago, one of us had the idea..wouldn't it be nice to go somewhere..just us, and leave the boys at home for a weekend. I think it was about the time when Mat was oversea's for 2 weeks :).

TIME: 8am departure
It was a bit of a rush up the coast as it took a bit longer than we thought, but we made it onto our tour for the day, which was the main thing!
10:40am First Drink and First winery...
11:24am, our second winery.
Ahhh stopping for lunch..see the grapes in the tree?? No wine consumed at lunch--just water!
2:42pm Fourth Winery
3:04pm Our final winery--not sure by this time how many drinks....
They were lovely and threw in an extra bottle of red for free!!!
We finished the tour at the Smelly Cheese Shop (it's real name), a chocolate shop and gelato shop...HEAVEN! Then it was time to check into our villa.....

Karina and I checking out the view from our balcony..not sure what number golf hole we overlooked, but the water and view were very nice!!!
This is Karina and I celebrating our loss of the king bed..we drew names to see who would be the lucky one to have the king bed and bathroom...as you can see, Nicole won.
After a very refreshing swim in the HUGE resort style pool, it was time to kick back with some cheese/crackers and Cheezles (on the fingers)..oh and a refreshing vodka mixed drink...
8:30pm--Dinner reservation at the hotel (no way was I driving after a day of drinking...) It was yummy, and bonus, they were haivng a wine tasting. Apart from the wine tasting, we had water with the meal...then we headed back to our villa for a Baily's (caramel), movie and then bed...
