May 31st all of our things were packed onto a truck headed to the UK.
16th August--exactly 11 weeks later we are re-united with our furniture! It feels really great to have our things back and a table to eat at! Out of all our things, there was only 1 thing broken which was a picture frame...not bad considering it was packed, re-packed before leaving on the boat, unpacked once it docked and then re-packed into the above 3 small containers..that's a lot of handling!
Nicholas was just sooo excited. He sighted his Thomas that is in a blue bucket--and the shrieks of joy were probably heard for miles!
The dining room is almost completed...we actually had a guest over for dinner tonight, which motivated us to clear the table. I clipped some roses and a few bits of lavender which was really lovely.
The rest of the house is a MESS--but we're slowly getting there, and I bet once we have 2 more hands (my dad) to help, it will be all into shape :)

Looks like the table fits perfectly! So glad everything arrived in great condition. Only one thing broken is pretty amazing.
And the green table fits nicely in his room too :)
