Party Season Already

We were invited to a dinner party tonight and decided (well it was decided for us since we couldn't find anyone) that Nicholas would come along as well. It didn't start till 8--which is bedtime for Nic, so what a treat (he fell asleep on the way, and it was only a 5 minute drive!)! Mat and I were a bit hesitant about taking him so late, but we thought that we would go, even for an hour just to get to know people better. Nicholas ended up in the guest room around 9pm and said that he would be fine laying down while watching a Wiggles DVD--awhile later he was asleep. Very cranky boy when we had to get him up and into the car, but in the end it all worked out really well, and Mat and I were able to mingle about

Nic's top/vest was a pressie from Grandma before leaving Sydney--looks very handsome :)
