This is probably the first year that Thanksgiving has sort of passed us by since being overseas. We really missed our traditional "Aussie Style" Thanksgiving that has grown with who joins us every year...and it just didn't seem the same without everyone...or maybe it was the £35 turkey that put me off. In any case, we still had one of my favourite parts (besides everyone coming together)..pumpkin pie. Nicholas and I made one this afternoon and we had it for dessert tonight with Tom the Turkey watching. Aunt Darcy--the can of whipped cream is just your style!! Nicholas didn't waste any time digging in with his spoon....
