Christmas Day

Cookies all gone but 1/2, milk almost gone..Santa must have LOVED those tomato's!

We woke at 8am with the pitter patter of two little feet coming down the stairs and Nicholas yelling: "Quick, quick, everyone get up", this is where I was expecting him to say Santa came, but instead he said "Quick, Uncle Justin is here" yet another surprise as we were expecting him around noon! The tree & gifts were skipped over for a chance to FINALLY have a ride with his Uncle..something he's been talking about for the last 3 weeks. Above, this is the wave to mom I get before heading out.
About a week earlier we received the yummiest gift ever--a big box full of breakfast items from Vermont for Christmas morning! We had the best waffles, pancakes, real maple syrup, bacon and sausage--Thanks again Darcy & Geoff!!

Nicholas reads his letter from Santa and finds out he was nice this year :)

Due to my brothers girlfriend not being able to make it till later that day--we spread out the gift opening. Nicholas loved his Kenwood microwave so much, that he was happy to stop after that anyway!

Weather was a bit above freezing, but very sunny..so we took a dip in the hot tub. Nicholas loved it as he could stand and have his head above the water wherever he went this year.Still lots of snow on the ground and on top of the roofs.
Someone trying to rest :)
We had a great dinner then continued to open the rest of the gifts from this morning..
