Snow Day

Compared to Nebraska standards, we had a dusting of snow--but the country shut down. If it snowed more here, you'd LOVE to be a kid in school as schools were closed with this amount. Although if you knew how squidgy and curvy the roads are here, you'd understand why. We followed the English way and stayed home today. Mathew soldiered on by getting to the airport this morning for his trip to Hong Kong instead of staying home to play.

Nicholas made snow cones with flower pots...and told me he was careful not to put in yellow snow!

In the afternoon, it warmed up enough to make the snow snowman worthy! The garden stake coming out of the tummy is his belly button!
