Hump Day

So it's school holidays for 2 weeks--thankfully we're almost at the end of our first week off..especially since Daddy has been away this week! We've had lots of playdates to keep us entertained and are starting our Easter crafts. Above Nicholas did up an egg that's supposed to be Handy Manny (a Playhouse Disney character)..he was quite proud of himself. We also dyed a few eggs with our neighbour's little girl today. I don't have photo's, but we all went out for a walk after egg dying to run off some energy. Eventually we came to a part of the meadow with a little steam. Now Nicholas has been in the stream in the summer...and we can add winter to that as well! It started just dipping the feet in...but soon enough it was well up to his thigh and filling his wellie boots! Eventually he took off his trousers and only had boots, undies & shirt on...we had to walk home in only his undies, shirt & boots--I'm sure we looked like we were lost in the bush for days!!

While the egg dying was going on, Ryan was getting to know the new neighbour! My boys are so lucky to have 2 gorgeous girls living right next door!
