Our day finished with a visit to Old Sarum. The English Heritage Society re-lived the days of WW2 this past long weekend. We arrived just in time to see an aerial display of a Spitfire and Hurricane planes and also a battle display with German, American and British soldiers (I told Nicholas it was fireworks..).
