A friend of the family organised a field trip for Nicholas to visit a local dairy farm this afternoon. Nicholas LOVED it and had so many questions for the guy who runs it. The family was really nice in taking Nicholas around showing how/where the cows come in to be milked and Nana and I got to put a thumb in the thing (have no idea of the technical name) that attaches to the utters to feel what happens on the cow. Then we went into another room to watch all the milk collect into one big container which then gets pushed into the big fridge container.
We then paid a visit to the new calves--they were very sweet!

What a wonderful trip. It looks like it isn't quite as chilly in NE as UK. Hope you are getting some nice spring weather.
Moooo! Lots of love XXXX
Let me explain this to you Nic...Milk comes from the grocery store in nice hygenic containers. :-) That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
We send love and hugs - and Misty and Chloe send big meows!
EVERY good (1/2) Nebraskan boy needs to understand how these things work. I hope you were able to use the phrase "That's the smell of money" at least once during your visit! hahaha
