Labenne, France

YAY we're here! Our long awaited summer holiday begins in southern France for the week. Nicholas and Fin were very pleased to see each other.

3rd day in and the temperature rose so we took a trip to the beach in the afternoon. Despite Mat trying many many times, Nicholas wanted to be nowhere near the water and instead choose playing in the sand a safer option for him.

We were taken to a town called Capbreton (I think anyway) for a stroll through the shops and of course a stop for ice-cream. Nicholas had sooo much ice-cream on this trip..and you'll see why in photo's below...

We hired a couple of bikes for a few days. Nic loved it. There were great bike tracks to go on which made it pretty easy to get around.
We took a trip to visit another town next to the one we saw earlier. While Fin slept, look what store Nic found..... YUMMMM
On our last night, we headed to the beach for a bite to eat and one last look at the beach.
There was a storm rolling in--with it some great thunder and lightening when we went to bed.
One last look at the H. This is Nic's first letter he learnt because of his love for helicopters.
No matter how many times you fly, you must always be prepared. This trip, the safety card caught Nic's interest for about 15 mins each way!
